Cook-Off Contest

The annual Calhoun County Cookoff Contest will take place on Sunday, July 12th. Cookers may be brought to the grounds starting at 8:30 AM and you may begin cooking at that time or anytime thereafter. Judging will be at 4:00 PM. All contestants must be registered by 1:00 PM. The catagories this year include the following.
Beef
Pork
Chicken
Turkey
Wild Game
Seafood

Meat may be marinated or injected before the contest, but MUST be cooked during the cookoff. Contestants will be judged on Taste (70 points), Appearance (15 points), and Originality (15 points).

This year we will also have a People's Choice Award!
